Summary, etc. This commentary has been cited frequently in most commentaries about the gospel according to Luke, ever since it was first published in 1886. The phrase magisterial comes to mind. To use it requires familiarity with koine Greek, and mine is rusty, but even so, it provides a valuable perspective not matched elsewhere.
