This is a commentary for those trained to read Greek, although portions are valuable to the non-Greek reader. I consistently am amazed how these two scholars from 100 years ago are right-on in their interpretation. I prefer Sanday & Headlam to Cranfield's Commentary, not only for the price, but Cranfield's interpretation is Reformed and Neo-Orthodox, whereas Sandy and Headlam tend toward an Arminian perspective. For my money, get Sanday & Headlam for a Greek exegetical commentary and invest what you save in Moo's commentary in the NICNT series. Cranfield is not as great as some would lead you to believe.
