These investigations will be followed by a detailed analysis of a theoretical community that might have valued this text and a subsequent theory regarding its date and historical setting. More specifically, I will show that Acts Pet12 Apost. is primarily made up of a Christian-Gnostic allegory of the ascent of the soul which underwent a later adaptation.
