Online resources: Summary: In this book Rev. Wong Fong Yang discusses his research on the practice of church discipline among the Presbyterian churches of Malaysia. His application of the Biblical practice from Matthew 18:15-20 is both appropriate and insightful. What I like the most is that he takes on the Asian cultural understanding of Face and the churches reluctance to apply the Bible to their lives because of their culture and he gently but firmly sheds light on the inaccuracy of the church's ideas of biblical incompatibility. He shows that church discipline is called for in the Bible and is helpful indeed!
