520 _aBlomberg has reflected deeply on these issues and addresses them in the following way. First, the theology of Jesus has a place in New Testament Theology. Second, while there are diverse theological visions in the New Testament, they do not rule out the overall theological unity of the New Testament. For Blomberg this unity is found in the notion of fulfillment: Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the promises God made to Israel in the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings. Third, Blomberg has chosen to structure his work by arranging its witnesses in a chronological order, fully aware that there is no unanimity about the dating of the material.
